At the Nigerian Bar Association Section on Business Law (NBA-SBL), We understand that as our world continues to outgrow national frameworks, we see increasing demand for international dialogue and collaboration, and in some cases, rules and guidelines.
General Information
Membership is open to any member of the NBA upon satisfactory completion of this form and payment of the Section's dues which are:
a.) Section membership from 0-4 years post call: N 5,000 (Five Thousand Naira) per annum
b.) Section membership between 5 to 9 years: N10,000 (Ten Thousand Naira) per annum
c.) Section membership between 10 to 14 years: N15,000 (Fifteen Thousand Naira) per annum
d). From 15 years and above: N20,000 (Twenty thousand Naira) per annum
e.) Extra committee membership: N 5,000 (Five Thousand Naira) per committee per annum
Please note that payment of ‘a', 'b' & 'c' above, entitles you to one free membership to any of the Section’s committees of your choice, and you can also join as many committees as you can be committed to.
The Section is currently made up of twenty-four (24) committees that exist solely to promote the participation of members of the NBA towards achieving the objectives of the Section. Please tick (√) the box beside any of the committees you wish to join as listed in Part B of this form and insert “F” in the box beside the committee that you have chosen as your free membership committee.

1.) Your information will be published on the Section’s website and any of our membership directories, but personal information will be treated with the utmost respect and by data requiring privacy.
2.) The duly completed application form must be accompanied by evidence of payment of practicing fees and the Section’s membership dues, including copies of the bank deposit slips as well as evidence of data update and verification with the NBA.
